Texas A&M running back Christine Michael has a workout with the Jacksonville Jaguars scheduled for Monday, according to Christine Michael, who tweeted about the upcoming meeting with the team.
Workout with the Jacksonville jaguars today ... Guys wish me luck

Michael, 22, had a strong start to his collegiate career with the Aggies, but tore his ACL during his junior season after accumulating 899 yards rushing and nine touchdowns in the first nine games of the season. During his senior season, he added 12 touchdowns as a goal-line back, but didn't play a huge role in an offense that featured Heisman Trophy-winner Johnny Manziel, due to attitude issues that reportedly landed him in head coach Kevin Sumlin's doghouse.
Despite the poor end to his career that featured injury and complaints about his attitude, Michael still has plenty of athleticism and looks the part of an NFL running back at 5-10, 220 pounds. Not exactly a burner, Michael posted a 4.54 40-yard dash at the 2013 NFL Combine, but made up for it with a 43 inch vertical jump that suggests he has all the explosiveness to make plays at the line of scrimmage.
