Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley hopped on board the airplane of the Wichita State Shockers basketball team on Tuesday to give the team a pep talk before they took off for Los Angeles for a Sweet 16 matchup against the La Salle Explorers on Thursday.
Bradley, who was at the USC Pro Day on Wednesday along with Jaguars offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch, told the team that was heading from pro day to pro day and that he was asked to stop in and address the team.
Ninth-seeded Wichita State advanced to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament by upsetting the eighth-seeded Pittsburgh Panthers, 73-55, in the second round of the tournament and the first-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs, 76-70.
If they were to beat La Salle on Thursday, they would advance to the Elite Eight to play the winner of Thursday's matchup between the sixth-seeded Arizona Wildcat and second-seeded Ohio State Buckeyes.
