Mike Jenkins visiting Raiders, Bills 'before signing'

The Jacksonville Jaguars hosted free agent cornerback Mike Jenkins on Friday, but before signing with anyone Jenkins is going to make a visit to the Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills according to a report from Adam Schefter of ESPN.

From how I read Schefter's tweet, it sounds like Jenkins is considering signing with the Jaguars but wants to make those visits first, likely to see if another team will come up with a better offer than Jacksonville. Ultimately, I think it will come down to the Bills or the Jaguars because the Raiders are pretty strapped with their salary cap right now.

Jenkins, 28, has had an up and down career with the Cowboys and has had little play on the free agent market. The former first round pick doesn't have the height most people think Gus Bradley likes to see in his corners, but he does possess the "length" with 32" arms. Jenkins might fare better in a press scheme more so than the zone and off coverage he played in Dallas.
