Jaguars 2013 schedule: Could we see Dion Jordan vs. Luke Joeckel Week 1?

The Jacksonville Jaguars open up the regular season against the Kansas City Chiefs, who currently hold the No. 1 overall pick and most expect them to draft offensive lineman Luke Joeckel. The Jaguars on the other hand hold the No. 2 overall pick in the draft and the most commonly mocked player to the Jaguars is Oregon pass rusher Dion Jordan.

So, for Week 1 of the 2013 NFL season we could see the first overall and second overall pick battling it out on the football field. Can Jordan, if he's a Jaguar, get the better of Joeckel?

That's the most likely scenario going forward, but some other possibilities are also out there.

While unlikely, it's possible the Chiefs could be opening the season against West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith, who many had pegged to the Chiefs until the trade for Alex Smith was completed.
