Ryan Nassib to visit Jaguars, according to report

Rich Barnes-US PRESSWIRE

The Jacksonville Jaguars are likely to draft a quarterback at some point in the 2013 NFL Draft, but the big question is who and when. On Friday, the Jaguars will get a visit from Syracuse quarterback Ryan Nassib, according to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Depending on who you talk to about Nassib, you will hear varying opinions on where he ranks and how good he is. I personally have a love/hate relationship with Nassib and think he's the perfect type of quarterback to take at the top of the second round, with just enough ability as a rookie to be able to challenge for the position.

The Jaguars previously have had head coach Gus Bradley meet with four other quarterbacks and this now makes a total of six in the draft that they've been linked to publicly.

Some evaluators, such as Greg Cossell and Russ Lande have Nassib ranked as the top quarterback in the 2013 NFL Draft. Nassib has a nice arm and has some mobility, so he would seem to fit into what the Jaguars are seemingly looking for at the position.
