Jacksonville Jaguars NFL Draft live blog: Rumors, trades and more

USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars added to their offense in the first round by picking up Luke Joeckel with the second overall pick. On the second day of the NFL Draft the Jaguars swapped over and added to the defensive side of the ball by adding safety Jontathan Cyprien and corner Dwayne Gratz, both of which are perfect scheme fits for the Jaguars.

For the fourth round, the Jaguars once again hold the first pick of the round and could potentially try to shop it again, especially with all the quarterbacks still on the board. I don't think the Jaguars will be picking Ryan Nassib or my guy Zach Dysert, though.

Live Blog:

Unofficial UDFA signings:

LS Carson Tinker, OT Roddy Tomlin, LB Maalik Bomar, DL Abry Jones, OT Jeff Nady, QB Matt Scott, S Steven Terrell, WR T.J. Moe

7:41 PM: Jaguars have signed Nevada OT Jeff Nady according to his Twitter account.

5:52 PM: The Jaguars finished up picking more defensive backs. We'll now try to track the UDFA movement as best we can on the live blog, so stay tuned.

3:48 PM: The Jaguars continue to rebuild their secondary, picking up Florida safety Josh Evans.

2:50 PM: Robinson spoke with ESPN's Trey Wingo shortly after he was selected by the Jaguars:

2:19 PM: I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW

2:03 PM: MOAR SPEED

1:50 PM: Ace Sanders highlights are fun and it's also worth noting that he didn't drop a single pass in his junior season:

11:57 AM: The Jaguars might not be the ones kicking off the fourth round, as ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Jaguars are fielding offers for their pick and that a trade is in play. With several quarterbacks on the board, including USC's Matt Barkley, it has been speculated that a team could trade up to select him.

11:45 AM: Ian Rapoport of NFL Network mentioned the Jaguars as a potential landing spot for Denard Robinson. I'm not sure what round, but I'd take a flier on Robinson as a running back.

11:10 AM: Just an hour or so away from the Jaguars next pick and I've heard it could be another defensive back, maybe one from a dawg school. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Jaguars go ahead with a quarterback at this point, because why not?

8:35 AM: Here's some highlights of Cyprien at the 2013 Senior Bowl, where Dave Caldwell said he impressed the Jaguars.

8:16 AM: Getting my draft grades done before I head out to get some breakfast and I really like the Jaguars picks in the second and third rounds. I never thought Cyprien would be available at pick 33 and he's an ideal fit for the bandit role.

7:48 AM: Good morning. Why am I awake this early?
