2013 NFL Draft results: Jaguars pick Denard Robinson

New, comments

After adding speed in the fourth round, the Jaguars added another dynamic playmaker in the fifth round.

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Michigan Wolverines athlete Denard Robinson with their fourth-round selection on Saturday. The first question that everyone is going to ask now that Robinson is in the NFL is: where does he fit in an NFL offense after playing quarterback, running back and wide receiver in college?

My guess would definitely be running back, as Robinson has size comparable to Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans and the shiftiness with the ball in his hands to be an instant contributor at the position and a playmaker in space.

With 4.34 speed and a 36.5-inch vertical jump, it's difficult to imagine that the Jaguars won't be able to find a way to get contributions from the player on the cover of NCAA Football 14. During his time with the Wolverines, he scored 91 touchdowns in a variety of different ways.

The Jaguars previously worked out Robinson at the Michigan Pro Day, where running back coach Terry Richardson ran Shoelace through some drills.
