More mock drafts...weeeee!!!

Debby Wong-USA TODAY Sports

The 2014 NFL Draft may end up three weeks later than it's currently scheduled for, as the NFL is considering moving the annual draft to May 15, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

With increased popularity in the NFL Draft every year, it makes sense for the league to attempt to stretch out the interest for three more weeks. In doing so, the league will also be able to shrink the monotony of the period between the draft and training camp.

Currently scheduled to begin on April 24, 2014, the new schedule would feature the 2014 NFL Draft beginning on Thursday, May 15 with the first round before continuing on Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17. The 2013 NFL Draft was cable's most watched program during Thursday's first round and drew roughly 20 million viewers in the three-day process.

So if you love mock drafts, buckle up, and get excited. If you don't, might want to try and tune out the month of April.
