Jacksonville Jaguars: Stadium Renovations Could Mean No London for Jaguars - Yahoo! Sports

There have been whispers around the league that Jaguars owner Shahid Khan plans to eventually move the franchise from Jacksonville to London, in an effort to fulfill the league's desire to expand the NFL and make it more popular globally. While many tend to see Khan's commitment to playing four London games over the course of as many seasons as having one foot out of Jacksonville, the new stadium renovations announced last week could eliminate that possibility. The Jaguars are set to play four games in London over the next four seasons - one "home game" a year. Initially, the St. Louis Rams were the club that was committed to playing three home games in London. While the Rams did play a home game in London in 2012, they are dropping plans to play an additional game there in 2013 and 2014. Then, just a year ago, the Minnesota Vikings were the frontrunner to be that London team. After much negotiation, the Jaguars became the team that made the commitment.
