The Jacksonville Jaguars drafted "running back" Denard Robinson in the fifth-round, where most pundits had the former Michigan quarterback as a wide receiver. Robinson's overall skill-set would seem to lean more towards running back than wide receiver, but the Jaguars appear to not be wanting to limit him to a specific postition, so they've created a brand new one for him.
Robinson is officially listed on the roster as "OW" or "offensive weapon."
What originally started out as kind of a joke by Robinson in interviews has turned into an official position. That is what Robinson can be however, and offensive weapon from the running back position, wide receiver, and even some wild-cat type things.
