Jacksonville Jaguars news roundup plus an update from around the AFC South.

Jacksonville Jaguars: A look at new OC Jedd Fisch
During the offseason, the Jacksonville Jaguars hired Gus Bradley as their new head coach. Bradley brought in Jedd Fisch as his new offensive coordinator. There is a belief and feeling throughout the Jaguars’ organization, that Bradley and Fisch can help turnaround a struggling franchise. Many fans are aware of Bradley’s credentials as the former defensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks. Yet, many may wonder, who is this Fisch character? Before being hired by Jacksonville, Fisch was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of Miami during the 2011 and 2012 seasons. In 2012, Miami was 37th in the nation in terms of total offense.

O-Zone: Mind-blowing . . .
I don’t know that the news regarding Jones-Drew has a direct correlation with his future on the team after this season. It remains to be seen whether this is something with long-term ramifications. Jones-Drew’s future with the team will depend far more on what it should depend – his health and productivity this season.

The 2013 Dream 18 stops at San Jose Country Club to play the par five, 17th hole at the beautiful Donald Ross designed course. Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee picked the hole and he delivered with a birdie - the first of 2013 on our scorecard. Scobee was almost matched by our First Tee representative Trevor.

Indianapolis Colts: Rookies Going Under the Radar - Stampede Blue
In my last piece talking about rookies to watch for, one of our great Stampede Blue community members suggested that I take a look at some of the rookies that haven't got a lot of attention since being picked up by the team. In this segment of "Brookey's Rookies", we are going to do just that. This is a mini scouting report for some of the names we haven't talked much about on Stampede Blue. Who knows who will make the final roster and who won't, but it's always good to get to know some about these guys.

Nate Washington looking the part in early OTAs - Music City Miracles
really thought we would see WR Nate Washington cut or traded by this point. Not because I want it that way, but because with the rumors of a trade pre-draft, talks of Washington being in coach Munchak's dog house, and the drafting of Justin Hunter all signs seemed to point to an inevitable departure from Nashville. All reports from OTAs have been conflicting those notions though.
