Bold City Brigade charity event big success for Boselli Foundation

Bold City Brigade

The Bold City Brigade, a grassroots Jacksonville Jaguars supporters group, held their first charity event on over the weekend on June 1 at Intuition Ale Works to benefit the Boselli Foundation.

The Boselli Foundation, founded by the Jaguars first ever NFL Draft pick Tony Boselli, is a faith-based non-profit organization striving to help children living in at-risk neighborhoods on the Northside of Jacksonville. The Boselli Foundation provides Youth Life Learning Centers where children are provided with and after-school learning environment that includes help with their school work, reading, mathematics, as well as mentoring and character development.

The event sold 210 tickets to the event and raised over $6,000 for the foundation by means of sales of the tickets and a raffle that gave away donated prizes, including a brand new Jacksonville Jaguars helmet signed by the rookie class.

Intuition Ale donated pint glasses etched with their logo as well as the Bold City Brigade's logo and also donated the first pint of beer for attendees. The food was catered by 927 Events and Smoke It Up BBQ, with Jarrod McManus (@JagsChef) assisting in making the food, which was fantastic.

The Bold City Brigade plans to try to do an event each season for charity, with tickets first being sold to members of the group and then to the general public.
