Shad Khan issues statement to Jaguars fans on Fulham purchase

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan recently completed a deal to take over ownership of English Premier League club Fulham F.C., which will be formally announced at a press conference on Saturday in London. Amidst the breaking news, it of course led to rampant baseless and ignorant speculation that the Jaguars were once again destined to move to London, to which Shad Khan issued a statement to Jaguars season ticket holders via e-mail.

Khan's statement to the fans:

In a few moments, I will be announcing that I have negotiated the purchase of the Fulham Football Club of the Barclays Premier League. As a valued member of our Jaguars season ticket owner family, I want to personally share the news with you and provide a little background on Fulham F.C..

First, Fulham F.C. will operate as a fully stand-alone business from the Jaguars. Fulham and the Jaguars each have a great responsibility to their players, fans, partners and communities, and both deserve nothing less than a 100 percent commitment from ownership. In short, our pledge to you - a Jaguars franchise that is proud, bold and committed - remains unchanged.

No matter what Khan says or does to the contrary, the low hanging fruit of the Jaguars relocation is going to continue, but if you just pay attention to what's going on you know what will happen.
