Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Drew Nowak crashed his car on Saturday evening, totaling it after he was hit by a car that was speeding and ran the red light. Nowak and the other drive appear to be uninjured however, as he tweeted that there were no injuries a few minutes later.
Nowak spent his rookie season in the NFL on the injured reserve after getting hurt in the preseason in 2012. He made the switch from defensive tackle, which he played at Western Michigan, to offensive guard and seemed to impress the coaching staff right away, playing well in the preseason.
Nowak has a shot to make the Jaguars roster in 2013, so any setbacks for him would be critical. Thankfully no one seemed to be injured in the crash.
