Jacksonville Jaguars news around the internet you may have missed.

First Off the Field: 7/28
A few Jaguars veterans got their first training camp break, but mostly Sunday was a day about offense. And specifically, it was about offensive improvement. On a day when the temperatures cooled considerably, and a day when four veterans had the day off of practice, Jaguars Training Camp 2013 continued Sunday morning with a two-and-a-half-hour practice under gray skies at the Florida Blue Health and Wellness practice fields. The temperature was 83 degrees, with the attendance at 1,706.

Jaguars Training Camp: Is it Miller-time for Jaguars? | StAugustine.com
Jaguars middle linebacker Paul Posluszny had a quick reaction when he heard the team signed defensive tackle Roy Miller in March.“We were all giving each other high fives because he’s that kind of lineman,” Posluszny said.Posluszny is hopeful the 6-foot-2, 310-pound Miller can keep opposing offensive linemen off him and the other Jaguars linebackers this season. The 26-year-old Miller anchored a Tampa Bay line last season that finished No. 1 in the NFL in run defense, 8 yards a game better than second-best Pittsburgh.

Jaguars Notebook: Guard Drew Nowak OK after car crash | jacksonville.com
Jaguars guard Drew Nowak went through a full practice Sunday that started less than 12 hours after he escaped injury when his car was totaled Saturday night.Nowak was driving on Bay Street from EverBank Field to the downtown hotel where the team is staying for training camp when a driver in an SUV ran a red light and hit his car.The air bag inflated in Nowak’s car and he only suffered a tiny cut on his elbow.“I didn’t have any time to react,” he said. “I just tensed up and took it. He hit me from the [passenger’s] side and put me on the curb. I was kind of shocked.”

Inside the Jaguars: Rackley feeling awesome
You won’t hear much complaining from Will Rackley. Rackley, the Jaguars’ third-year offensive guard, said he doesn’t mind the dog days of training camp, and don’t expect to hear him griping about much else in the coming days. Not in this camp. Not this year. “It’s awesome, man,” Rackley said Sunday on the third day of Jaguars 2013 Training Camp, being held at the Florida Blue Health and Wellness practice fields outside EverBank Field.
