Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Russell Allen sprained his ankle early in the game on Friday evening against the Miami Dolphins, leaving early as a precautionary measure.
Allen was seen at EverBank Field on Saturday morning with a boot on his foot to protect his ankle, but the injury is not believed to be serious nor keep him out for an extended period of time.
Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley said that his ankle was swollen and he will be evaluated, but he's expected to return to the lineup quickly.
The Jaguars have been relatively lucky on the injury front, just having a few minor injuries and strains while some other teams have suffered season ending injuries to some key players.
