Justin Blackmon injury: Jaguars WR added to active roster

The Jaguars have removed wide receiver Justin Blackmon from the PUP list.

Logan Bowles - Void Magazine

The Jacksonville Jaguars have added wide receiver Justin Blackmon to the active roster on Monday, as the team announced he has passed his physical and has been removed from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Blackmon started training camp on the PUP list as he recovered from offseason groin surgery.

The Jaguars have been a little banged up, though with just  minor injuries, at the receiver position but should have both of their starters back and available for Sunday's matchup with the New York Jets.

Blackmon should see plenty of action in the preseason to get him acclimated in the offense, but he will miss the first quarter of the season serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
