The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed veteran free agent linebacker Andy Studebakeraccording to his feed on Twitter. The Jaguars are trying to figure out their depth at the linebacker position, so Studebaker has a legitimate chance to make the final roster.

Studebaker, 27, is a 6'3 245-pound outside linebacker who last played for the Kansas City Chiefs. He entered the NFL as a sixth-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2008 NFL Draft, but was signed off their practice squad by the Chiefs, playing outside linebacker in their 3-4 defense. He was also a core special teams player.

I'm not sure if the Jaguars intend to play Studebaker as an outside linebacker in their defense or as another hat in the LEO competition.

To make room for Studebaker on the roster the Jaguars released kicker Adam Yates.
