The Jackosnville Jaguars are ready for their second preseason game of the season, this time heading up to New Jersey and MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Jets. There will be some interesting roster battles to watch during the game, including at the quarterback position.
Head coach Gus Bradley decided to give quarterback Blaine Gabbert the nod, marking his second start of the preseason, as he tries to slam the door shut on the team's quarterback competition. Maurice Jones-Drew and Justin Blackmon will also make their 2013 preseason debuts, as both are expected to get some action early in the game.
The defense looks to follow up on their solid outing from a week ago against the Miami Dolphins, where the defensive line was able to get some good pressure on the quarterback and did a nice job stopping the run. We'll also get our first look at second-round pick Jonathan Cyprien.
