The Jacksonville Jaguars have started adding players off the waiver wire on Sunday, picking up Philadelphia Eagles linebacker/defensive end Chris McCoyaccording to his Twitter feed.

McCoy, 26, was originally drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the seventh-round of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Middle Tennessee State. The 6'4, 265 pound defensive end/linebacker has also spent time with the Houston Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers, Calgary Stampeders, and most recently in the preseason with the Eagles.

In the preseason playing linebacker, McCoy picked up four sacks and four quarterback pressures for the Eagles defense, playing with the reserves.

There is no word yet on who the Jaguars will release to finalize the waiver claim, but when it's announced we will update this post.
