The Jacksonville Jaguars have continued scouring the waiver wire to add players to the backend of their roster, this time picking up wide receiver Stephen Burton off waivers.
Burton, 23, was originally drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh-round of the 2011 NFL Draft. At 6'1 and 221 pounds he clocked a 4.38 40-yard dash. He played a total of 15 games for the Vikings during his two seasons with the team, picking up seven receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown.
During the 2013 NFL preseason, Burton had seven receptions for 112 yards.
The Jaguars have still yet to release any players to make room on the roster.
