The Jacksonville Jaguars start their two-week tour of the West Coast with a late game this afternoon against the Oakland Raiders in O.co Coliseum.
Starting quarterback Blaine Gabbert suffered an injury to his throwing hand last week against the Chiefs, earning himself 15 stitches and backup Chad Henne an opportunity to lead a Jaguars offense that is, frankly, in need of leading.
If Henne can turn back the clock and be the quarterback he was against the Texans last November, things could look (surprisingly) bright in Duval. If he looks like he did in any of the other eight starts he had in 2012... well, let's just hope he turns back the clock, shall we?
The Raiders, meanwhile, traveled to Indianapolis last Sunday and put up a fight against a Colts team many picked as a playoff team in 2013. Terrelle Pryor threw for 217 yards and a touchdown and added an additional 112 yards on the ground. Oakland might have pulled out an upset victory on the road if not for an Andrew Luck run in the final minutes.
