Maurice Jones-Drew injury: Jaguars RB expected to play vs. Seahawks

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew has been largely ineffective on the west coast during his NFL career, for whatever reason, and once again was injured against the Oakland Raiders in the Jaguars 19-9 defeat on Sunday.

While Jones-Drew missed much of the second half of the game, he's expected to be available for Sunday's matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.

Word on #Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (foot tendon sprain) after his MRI: "He's good," I'm told. The plan is to play on Sunday.

While Jones-Drew will probably "start", I would still be surprised to see him get the lion's share of touches this week with him nursing the injury. This could be the week we see a heavy dose of Denard Robinson involved in the offense, mostly because the offense just needs to do.... something.
