Week 3 NFL odds 2013: Jaguars massive underdogs to Seahawks

The Jacksonville Jaguars have looked like the NFL's worst team through two weeks and many would argue that the Seattle Seahawks have looked like the best. Unsurprisingly, the Week 3 meeting of the team in Seattle is being considered one of the most lop-sided matchups of the year and the odds reflect it.

The Jaguars are 19-point underdogs on OddsShark, although some Internet sportsbooks have the line as large as 20 points in favor of the Seahawks. That line isn't set to shrink any time soon either, and could continue to grow as Sunday's game draws nearer.

In what could become the biggest NFL point-spread in many seasons, Seattle was an early 20-point favorite over the Jags, who just lost in Oakland and will stay on the West Coast this week, rather than make another cross-country flight. As if Jacksonville's task isn't daunting enough, they face a Seattle team that is 8-2 ATS in its past 10 games as favorite. And they are 16-3 ATS in their past 19 home games. But cover 20 points?

The line is the biggest in the NFL since the Peyton Manning-less Indianapolis Colts faced a 20.5-point spread against the New England Patriots in 2011, although they covered with a 31-24 loss. In fact, in the 12 times there's been a spread of 19 points or more, the underdogs are 10-2 against the spread.
