The Patriots had released Love with a non-football injury/illness designation just weeks after he was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. The 6-foot-1, 315-pound Love had survived the final cuts and made the 53-man roster on Saturday but was cut on Sunday when the Jaguars were awarded seven players off waivers. His release leaves the Jaguars with just four defensive tackles on the roster.
