The Jacksonville Jaguars didn't look like the Super Bowl contender we all expected to see in the first 30 minutes at CenturyLink Stadium in Seattle, as they fell behind the Seahawks early, 24-0.
Despite high expectations for Chad Henne, the Jaguars were unable to find the end-zone even with the return of the always dangerous Maurice Jones-Drew from injury. Lol, come on what did we actually expect?
I suppose I was hopeful that the Jaguars would look halfway functional at times on offense, but negative-nine yards in the first quarter pretty much eliminated that hope. What I'm hoping for now is more signs of growth from young players like Johnathan Cyprien who had the Jaguars highlight of the game when he recorded a sack/forced fumble late in the second quarter.
It's going to be a process, everyone. Take a deep breath and look for signs of growth.
