The Jacksonville Jaguars have been churning the bottom of their roster for the past few games, juggling a wide receiver and an offensive lineman. The team made the move once again on Saturday afternoon, adding both Tobais Palmer and Jeremy Ebert from the practice squad to the active roster.
To make room on the roster, the team released both quarterback Ricky Stanzi and offensive lineman Jacques McClendon, both of which could be back at some point in the season.
The Jaguars need extra bodies at the wide receiver position, dealing with multiple injuries and the final week of Justin Blackmon's suspension. Mike Brown and Stephen Burton picked up injuries in the past few weeks, making it necessary to add two receivers.
