The Jacksonville Jaguars have been without running back Justin Forsett for the entire preseason, as the newly signed free agent has been dealing with a turf toe injury. In his absence, backup running back Jordan Todman has stepped up and forced himself on the roster, but Forsett says he'll be ready for Sunday.

Turf toe is an injury that can linger for a while if it's not properly cared for, but the Jaguars have been exceedingly cautious with injuries during the preseason. It's typically a four-week injury, but can be a bigger issue for running backs because of how they play the game.
Forsett will be back at practice for the first time in a few weeks, but with the emergence of Todman the team may be able to continue to take it slow with his injury.
