Chiefs vs. Jaguars injury report: Blaine Gabbert questionable, Marcedes Lewis out

The Jaguars will only officially be without one player on Sunday for the Chiefs.

Kevin C. Cox

The Jacksonville Jaguars are relatively healthy and escaped the 2013 NFL preseason with minimal injuries. The biggest concern obviously is that of starting quarterback Blaine Gabbert, who's officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game. The only big injury this week is Marcedes Lewis, who will be out after aggravating his calf injury.

Here's the official injury report for Friday:

Name Wednesday Thursday Friday Game Status
Marcedes Lewis (calf) Limited DNP DNP Out
Justin Forsett (toe) Limited Limited Limited Questionable
Roy Miller (knee) Limited Limited Limited Probable
Stephen Burton (illness) Limited Full Full Probable
Blaine Gabbert (thumb) Limited Limited Limited Questionable
Jeremy Mincey (illness) Limited Limited Full Probable
Will Rackley (ankle) Limited Limited Limited Questionable

While Gabbert is listed as "questionable", I would still expect him to start against the Chiefs. If he wasn't ready to go, it's unlikely the team would have let him practice all week, but rather just shut him down and let him recover.
