When the 2014 Senior Bowl rosters were announced, there were only two quarterbacks on the South Team roster, due to the fact that some players declined their invitation be it because of injury or personal reasons. After a good showing during the East-West Shrine Game practice week, Eastern Illinois quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has been added to the Senior Bowl roster.

With the open roster spot being on the South roster, it appears Garoppolo will be coached by the Jacksonville Jaguars coaching staff along with Derek Carr and David Fales. The Jaguars will be in the hunt for a quarterback in the 2014 NFL Draft, so they'll get a good look at three possibilities next week.
