The Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos are set to face off in the Super Bowl. SB Nation 2014 NFL Playoff Coverage

USA TODAY Sports

The Denver Broncos bested the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game to make their seventh Super Bowl appearance, in hopes of winning the franchise's third ever championship. The Broncos handled the New England Patriots all day long, as the offense seamlessly moved the ball up and down the field and the defense stifled the Patriots offense.

The NFC Championship on the other hand saw the Seattle Seahawks fight back from early mistakes and overtake the San Francisco 49ers. The game started out rough with a Russell Wilson turnover on the first play of the game, but a few big plays by Wilson and Marshawn Lynch, as well as some costly turnovers by Colin Kaepernick helped the Seahawks edge out their division rival to make just their second ever Super Bowl appearance.
