The NFL has reportedly announced that the 2015 NFL Draft will be held April 30-May 2. However, the venue hasn't been decided as the league is still deciding between Chicago and Los Angeles.
Though the league is undecided between LA and Chicago, next year’s NFL Draft is now set for April 30-May 2, per league sources.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 2, 2014
There was widespread criticism about the scheduling of the 2014 NFL Draft, with teams telling the league that the late scheduling was having an effect on their work with rookies once they were drafted.
The April 30-May 2 timeframe means the league, at least in part, listened to the teams. The 2015 NFL Draft starts more closely to Day 1 of the 2013 NFL Draft (April 25) than last year's predecessor (May 8).
