The Jacksonville Jaguars scored their first victory of the season on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, but lost starting middle linebacker Paul Posluszny for the season due to injury.
Head coach Gus Bradley announced during his weekly Monday press conference to the media that Posluszny would be placed on injured reserve and miss the remainder of the 2014 season.

Bradley also said that defensive end Andre Branch would likely miss the next six weeks due to a groin injury.
Filling in for Posluszny will probably be fourth-year backup J.T. Thomas, who has been with the Jaguars since last season. Bradley also said that he'd give rookie defensive end Chris Smith a shot at replacing Branch.
Posluszny was the team's leading tackler through the first seven games. Branch is second on the team with 3.0 sacks, behind only Chris Clemons, who has 4.0 sacks on the year.
