Who needs to be the Jaguars second half MVP?

Which Jaguars player needs to step their game up in the second half of the season?

The bye week came at a good time for the Jacksonville Jaguars. It wasn't right in the middle of the season, but it was right when the team was starting to look competitive and just missing on a few things keeping them from wins and then the bottom fell out against the Dallas Cowboys.

It's a good time to reset, especially for rookie quarterback Blake Bortles. If the Jaguars are going to have success in their final six games after the bye week, like they did last season, Bortles needs to be the team's MVP going forward. He got off to a hot start in his first two games and has come back to Earth, looking more like the rookie quarterback he is.

He was hot and cold on Sunday, but overall I thought he wasn't bad and improved some. Even the interception he threw wasn't a big deal (was trying to make a play down field, which I can live with) and there weren't nearly as many "near interceptions" as there had been in weeks past.

It's a good two weeks for him to step back and assess what's going on and settle down, because if the Jaguars want to win more games, more than anything else he needs to be productive.

In your mind, who needs to be the team's second half MVP?
