The Jacksonville Jaguars are 1-9 coming off the bye week and look to have a high selection in the 2015 NFL Draft.
According to Dan Kadar of Mocking The Draft, the Jaguars will be using the No. 2 overall pick to draft Nebraska defensive end Randy Gregory.
If the Jaguars happen to move on from 33-year-old Chris Clemons, they could find the blueprint for a Leo in Gregory. It's not a length thing, even though Gregory has it. It's more to do with pure athleticism. Gregory can dip the edge and closes in a dangerous burst. He's seen plenty of double- and triple-teams this season at Nebraska and is still effective.
Kadar predicts the Oakland Raiders will finish with the worst record this year and have the No. 1 overall pick, which they might shop around for a team in desperate need of a quarterback. The Jaguars could do that too, although with Gregory available to them, I doubt they do anything but take him.
What do you think? Would you be happy with the Jaguars selecting Gregory, or would you want to see us try and trade down for extra picks? Or is there another player you think would be a better fit?
