The Jacksonville Jaguars could play spoilers against the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon. The Texans need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive, but the Jaguars can go into Houston and smash those dreams.
What needs to happen for the Jaguars to win their first season finale since 2011?
1. J.J. Watt gets, at most, one sack
I thought the Jaguars offensive line did an okay job against Watt in their first meeting. Yes, it says three sacks in Watt's box score, but if you look at the sacks, he was directly responsible for one of them. I think problems like Blake Bortles' slipping and Marcedes Lewis' missed blocks don't happen on Sunday.
2. Toby Gerhart has his best game of the year
This won't be too difficult as his best game so far was last week, and it was only 60 total yards and a touchdown. But he's carried the running game since Denard Robinson went down, and he'll get plenty of opportunities on Sunday.
3. Marqise Lee will have his first 100-yard game
Averaging nearly eight targets per game over the last four weeks, and having one of his better games against the Texans secondary a couple of weeks ago, it's not crazy to think that Bortles can help Lee earn his first 100-yard game.
