The Jacksonville Jaguars haven't been big spenders in free agency over the last two years, and general manager Dave Caldwell said on Tuesday that has been his decision.
He followed that up by saying the team will likely be big spenders this year.
"We don't have to spend big this year ... but we plan to," Caldwell said in end-of-the-season press conference this morning. He also reiterated that if a needed player becomes available, that the team will be "aggressive" in signing him.

Further supporting that the team will make a splash in free agency is Caldwell's admission that he regretted the lack of veteran presence on this year's squad.

The Jaguars have around $60 million to spend this year, so it'd be surprising if the team didn't go into free agency hard this March.
