Jacksonville Jaguars Free Agency Live Blog - Rumors, Signings, and More

Follow along as we cover NFL free agency for the Jaguars with our live blog.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

NFL free agency opened on Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET officially and as expected the Jacksonville Jaguars signed a few players early on in the free agent process. They only made really one big splash so far, but they've been linked to quite a few players who should be visiting soon.

We will be tracking the free agency news throughout the day and you can follow along with our live blog of the events. We'll be keeping track of players the Jaguars show interest in through the day and former Jaguars players who sign elsewhere. We'll also track players the Jaguars could be showing interest in and players we might have thought the team was interested in and where they signed and how much. If you see something we've missed, please alert us in the comments. The live blog will be run by a combination of people throughout the day to keep up with the latest news.

Here's a quick recap of the moves made yesterday:

- Jaguars signed Zane Beadles to a 5-year, $30 million deal with $12.5 million guaranteed.

- In probably the most hilarious move of the year, the Jags traded Blaine Gabbert to the 49ers.

- As expected, Jacksonville re-signed corner Will Blackmon to a two-year deal.

- In another surprise move the Jags snapped up running back Toby Gerhart.

- The team has lined up visits with CB Walter Thurmond III, DE Willie Young and LB Dekoda Watson.

Live Blog

10:44 AM: Former Steelers defensive end Ziggy Hood is reportedly signing with the Jaguars today as well.

10:25 AM: In what we've expected all along, former Seahawks defensive end Chris Clemons will reportedly become a member of Jaguars today. Boom.

6:41 PM: In some of the most obvious news of the day, free agent defensive end Chris Clemons is flying in to visit with the Jaguars and it appears like a deal being done is all but a formality.

4:21 PM: The Jaguars have both former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders and defensive lineman Ziggy Hood in for a visit according to Ryan O'Halloran.

2:29 PM: The Jaguars will be streaming the introductory press conference with offensive lineman Zane Beadles at 3 p.m. ET. You can stream it on Jaguars.com/live.

Also

12:21 PM: The Seattle Seahawks have released veteran defensive end Chris Clemons, the original LEO. Might as well get on a flight to Jacksonville. If they're going to sign an older vet defensive end, would guess it's Clemons.

10:45 AM: Breakdowns from some of the deals the Jaguars have handed out are emerging. Beadles will count $7.475 million against the cap in 2014 with $2.975 million in base salary and a $4.5 million signing bonus. The Jaguars currently sit at roughly $48 million in cap room.

9:14 AM: The Jaguars have signed free agent linebacker Dekoda Watson, according to a report. Gus Bradley closes another free agent visit. It's likely Watson is a fit in the Jaguars SAM linebacker role.

8:44 AM: Former Jaguars guard Uche Nwaneri is visiting with the Cincinnati Bengals and has a few other visits lined up.

8:30 AM: Former Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is garnering interest from the New York Jets, so with the Toby Gerhart signing it appears Jones-Drew's Jaguars career is over.
