The Jacksonville Jaguars are staying active in NFL free agency, hosting both wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders and defensive lineman Ziggy Hood for visits on Wednesday afternoon according to a report by Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union.
Hood, 27, played defensive tackle for Missouri and ended up a first round pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers. His career in the NFL thus far as a 3-4 defensive end however has been a disappointment to say the least. He's been one of the worst graded 3-4 ends on Pro Football Focus and rotated in the lineup his first two seasons before starting full time at defensive end in 2011.
Sanders, 26, has been a productive complimentary receiver for the Steelers since he was picked in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft. In his career thus far he's grabbed 161 passes for just over 2,000 yards and 11 touchdowns. It's unlikely he'll be expected to be the No. 1 wide receiver if signed, but he could fit as a complimentary/rotational option for the Jaguars.
