Ex-Seattle DE Chris Clemons is close to a deal with the Jaguars, per source. Colleague @RapSheet reported he's going there on a visit.

According to a report be Ian Rapoport, Chris Clemons is another one of Jaguars Head Coach Gus Bradley's former players to express interest in joining him in Jacksonville.
Chris Clemons, a 6'3 and 255 lb former undrafted free agent from the University of Georgia has bounced around the league with stops in Washington, Cleveland, Oakland, and Philadelphia before making his greatest impact at the LEO position for the Super Bowl Champion Seahawks.
Big Cat Country and others have noted that Clemons would be a target of the Jaguars if the Seahawks re-signed Michael Bennett. Bennett was re-signed yesterday which opened the door for Clemons' release.
If Clemons were to sign with the Jaguars, the team would gain experience and leadership in the LEO position. We still expect the Jaguars to address the LEO position in the draft no matter how many pass rushers the Jaguars sign this offseason. If Seattle really is "the blueprint," the Seahawks have proved that a team cant have too many players that are great at rushing the passer. Clemons can certainly do that. We will keep you posted.
