Two more prospects were added to the list of players arriving in Jacksonville for a string of visits and both were stars in the SEC during their respective collegiate careers, as South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron are each scheduled to visit EverBank Field, according to Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union.
Clowney is considered by many to be the top prospect in the 2014 NFL Draft despite questions of his work ethic. The 6'5, 266 pound pass rusher is an exceedingly rare combination of size, speed and power and was utterly dominant at times while at South Carolina. About a quarter of the mock drafts from NFL Draft experts have Clowney slated to be picked by the Jaguars with the No. 3 pick.
McCarron does not have the dynamic arm that is typical of a top draft prospect; however, he found plenty of success during his time with the Crimson Tide. In his time with the team, Alabama won three BCS National Championships, although he was starter for the final two. In his senior season, McCarron earned the Maxwell Award and was the runner-up for the Hesiman Trophy.
With the addition of Clowney and McCarron, the full list of players scheduled to visit the Jaguars in the coming day is at 15 and is as follows:
