CBS gives Jaguars selection of Blake Bortles their only A+ grade

CBS sports have given the Jaguars an A+ grade for the selection of quarterback Blake Bortles with the 3rd overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.

Pete Prisco was (surprisingly) ecstatic, calling Bortles the best quarterback in the draft and praising his athleticism and toughness. He said the Jaguars "got their quarterback of the future".

"You can't win in this league without a quarterback. They got their quarterback and made the right move. He comes from the Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan school of thinking. It's a great pick for what they were asking for."

Will Brinson asked Prisco if they should play Bortles right away and Prisco was adamant that "if he comes in and win the job, he plays".

In comparison, the CBS crew gave AFC South rivals Houston an A for their selection of DE Jadeveon Clowney and Tennessee a C for their pick of OT Taylor Lewan.
