50 best plays of 2013 - No. 48: Scobee kicks his 200th career field goal

New, comments

We're counting down the 50 best plays of 2013. Who made it at No. 48? Josh Scobee and his 200th career field goal.

Phil Sears-USA TODAY Sports

In the 50 days leading up to the preseason opener against the Buccaneers, we're counting down the 50 best plays of 2013.

Yesterday at No. 49 was Austin Pasztor's domination of J.J. Watt in Houston. So, what's No. 48?

Josh Scobee's 200th career field goal. He's the first Jaguars kicker to get to 200. (Mike Hollis got to 200, but only 175 of them were with Jacksonville and the rest were with Buffalo.)

After his 200th, Scobee kicked 15 more, bringing his career total to 215 and putting him in the all-time top 50 for career field goals.

With two more years left on a four-year contract he signed in 2012, we'll hopefully get to see Scobee climb the all-time ranks even higher.

Should Scobee's 200th career field goal be higher than No. 48? Should it be on the list at all? Let us know in the comment below!
