50 best plays of 2013 - No. 28: Mike Brown scores first home TD

We're counting down the 50 best plays of 2013. Who made it to No. 28? Chad Henne, Mike Brown, and the first "home" touchdown of the season.

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

In the 50 days leading up to the preseason opener between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, we're counting down the 50 best plays of 2013.

Yesterday at No. 29 was Alan Ball, and his interception that took focus and athleticism against the Tennessee Titans.

In at No. 28? Mike Brown getting past the San Francisco 49ers secondary for the first "home" touchdown of the season.

I put the word "home" in quotations because, while it was officially a home game, it was in London. (The first one at EverBank -- a fourth-down catch-and-run by tight end Danny Noble -- is going to come a little later.)

49ers cornerback Tramaine Brock had made a habit of jumping routes leading up to this match up, nabbing three interceptions in the first five weeks of the season. Brock thinks a simple out route is coming, but Brown turns it up field and Henne puts the ball right on the money.

And, I mean, this guy needs to get some sort of Honorable Mention, right?

Should Brown's touchdown -- the first for the Jaguars at home -- be on the list? Let us know in the comments below!
