50 best plays of 2013 - No. 24: Jason Babin rips out Andre Ellington's dreads

We're counting down the 50 best plays of 2013. Who made it to No. 24? Jason Babin and his Mayan-esque takedown of Andre Ellington.

In the 50 days leading up to the preseason opener between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, we're counting down the 50 best plays of 2013.

Yesterday at No. 25 was Maurice Jones-Drew, some solid blocking by the offensive line, and a 44-yard run -- his longest up to this point in the season.

In today at No. 24? Jason Babin literally ripping some dude's hair out.

Late in the third quarter of a Week 11 matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Arizona Cardinals, the Jaguars found themselves down by 10. The defensive line was doing a superb job at stopping the run, allowing only 13 yards on the ground up to this point.

On a third down play, Babin made yet another stop, this time tackling Andre Ellington for no gain and forcing a punt.

But a closer look at the play reveals that Babin did more than just take down Ellington. He ripped out the man's dreads, immortalizing himself in sports meme history.

Should Babin's dread-pull be on the list? Should it be higher? Let us know in the comments below!
