In the 50 days leading up to the preseason opener between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, we're counting down the 50 best plays of 2013.
Yesterday at No. 21 was Geno Hayes and his smart read on Matt Schaub to make an interception.
In at No. 20? A combination defensive play with Jason Babin forcing a fumble on Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden and Sen'Derrick Marks recovering and taking it down the field.
With just seconds left in the first half, it looked like the Browns were going to stall around midfield. That would've been fine, since the Jaguars would go into the locker room leading on the road.
Instead, Babin makes a great play on the edge and knocks the ball out of Weeden's hand, Marks recovers, rumbles about 15 yards, and gets the Jaguars in field goal position -- which Scobee knocked through and grew the Jaguars' lead to six.
Should the Babin-and-Marks combination play be higher on the list? Lower? Let us know in the comments below!
