In the 50 days leading up to the preseason opener between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, we're counting down the 50 best plays of 2013.
Yesterday at No. 38 was Justin Blackmon's 14th reception against the Denver Broncos, which helped him to a 190-yard performance at Mile High Stadium -- which no other receiver has bested since 2000, when Jimmy Smith posted 15 catches for 293 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in 2000.
What comes in at No. 37? Mike Brown, and the touchdown that capped off his most complete game of 2013.
Brown is in his second year out of Liberty, but he didn't really have much of a rookie year. He made just two appearances his rookie season and didn't make any catches.
But due to injury, and impressive performances during training camp, Brown played in 11 games last year, with nine of them multi-catch games. He amassed 446 yards and two touchdowns, but his game against the Tennessee Titans is probably the greatest case someone could make for him to earn a roster spot in 2014.
Here's Brown's second touchdown of the season -- a seven-yard screen he took into the end zone, despite being swarmed by three Titans defenders five yards out.
Should Mike Brown's touchdown against the Titans on the list? Let us know in the comments below!
