50 best plays of 2013 - No. 17: Interior pressure leads to Geno Hayes' INT vs. Bills

We're counting down the 50 best plays of 2013. Who made it to No. 17? Geno Hayes, with a little help from the Jaguars defensive line, intercepting Bills quarterback E.J. Manuel.

Phil Sears-USA TODAY Sports

In the 50 days leading up to the preseason opener between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, we're counting down the 50 best plays of 2013.

Yesterday at No. 18 was LaRoy Reynolds and his helmet-less tackle on a punt return against the Colts.

In at No. 17? E.J. Manuel, some interior defensive line pressure, and Geno Hayes' second interception of the season.

At first glance, it looks like an easy interception by Hayes (and it is) but what makes this play great is that it's more than simply one guy making a great catch. It's everyone doing their jobs -- the secondary is holding their coverage, the defensive line is pressuring Manuel up the middle, and Hayes is exactly where he needs to be.

Should Hayes' interception be higher on the list? Lower? Let us know in the comments below.
