Suspended Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon was arrested in Oklahoma Wednesday evening for possession of marijuana.
According to the police report that Big Cat Country has obtained, Blackmon was pulled over in Edmond, Oklahoma on Wednesday evening for an illegal turn. Officers claimed they could smell marijuana from inside Blackmon's car. After a search of the vehicle, Blackmon was taken into custody once marijuana was found in his vehicle.
Blackmon is currently suspended from the NFL indefinitely for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. He was originally suspended the first four games of the 2013 season, played four games and then was suspended again indefinitely for another violation.
Blackmon, by all accounts, did not reapply for reinstatement to the NFL this offseason and Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell said the team does not expect him back in 2014, but with the latest news it's likely he's never back at all.
The former Top 10 overall pick was currently serving an indefinite suspension from the NFL, and as mentioned would need to apply for reinstatement from the league before coming back.
