Attending Jaguars 2014 training camp: Cost, autographs, parking, directions, what to bring and more

This is your guide to attending Jacksonville Jaguars training camp at the Florida Blue Health and Wellness Practice Fields. Details on the cost to attend, how to get autographs, where to park, directions to the facility and what to bring.

Who: Jaguars 90-man offseason roster, and all coaches and front office

What: Daily training camp practices

Where: Florida Blue Health and Wellness Practice Fields

When: July 25 - August 12. See the daily schedule below.

Check the weather

The Jacksonville Jaguars do not currently have an indoor practice facility but will typically practice in the rain if there is not lightning nearby. If the rain is too much, the team will generally wait to see if the shower passes by for a certain amount of time and then move indoors, at which practice will be closed to the public. It's a good idea to check the weather report before heading to the practice fields, but @BigCatCountry will also be keeping you up to date.

How to get there

The Florida Blue Health and Wellness Practice Fields are located adjacent to EverBank Field on the north west side of the stadium in downtown Jacksonville. You can  get to the fields the same way you would to EverBank Field on game day, via Commodore Point Expressway (215) and taking the sports complex exit, the Matthews Expressway (115), Martin Luther King Expressway, or taking Bay Street to Franklin Street.

What time to get there

The majority of the practices begin at 9:55 AM, with the exception of one practice on Monday evening (July 28) at Bartram Trail High School, starting with a few individual position drills and stretching. Team drills and one-on-one drills will likely begin roughly 30 to 45 minutes into practice. The earlier you can get to practice the better, especially through the first weekend and the first day of pads, because it will fill up and the capacity is limited.

How much does it cost?

There is no cost for Jaguars training camp, but the team is requiring all fans who attend to RSVP for each day of training camp. You can RSVP for the practices at this link and please remember this is mandatory this year and you must show proof of RSVP to gain admittance to practice. Mini-camp practices for the Jaguars drew record crowds, so expect it to be crowded.

Note: The Bartram Trail practice on Monday evening is SOLD OUT. There are no more tickets available.

How to park

You can park in the lots surrounding EverBank Field and parking is 100 percent free. Do not pay anyone to park for Jaguars practices. Sometimes there will be a Jacksonville Suns game going on at the same time as Jaguars practice, though with the practices in the morning it's unlikely. If that is there case or there is another event attempting to charge for parking, simply tell the attendant you are there for Jaguars training camp and they will direct you where to park for free.

Where to sit during practice

There will be bleachers on either side of the entrance to practice and they fill up fast. If you want a seat on the bleachers I would suggest arriving early to practice.

You can also stand the entire practice. You're allowed to walk around three sides of the fields to get different angles. There generally not any shaded seating and the seating that is shaded is generally reserved for player families.

Photos are encouraged but no video

You can take all the photos you want of Jaguars practice, but the team does limit the length of the lens you can use in the stands and on the sideline. The team also discourages video of practices.

Make sure your best ones are tweeted at us or posted on our Facebook page or sent to me via email at alfiebcc@gmail.com.

How to get autographs

You can get autographs at the conclusion of practice each day. Not all players will sign however and for various reasons. Some have to go lift following practice or have a positional meeting. Some have other media obligations immediately following practice.

Players will generally not sign autographs while they are making their way out to the practice fields.
